The Easiest Roasted Broccoli Recipe

For a healthy, easy roasting side dish, pick up some broccoli and try this great recipe. This recipe staple is a flavorful side dish that goes well with chicken and fish.

The Easy Roasted Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into 2″ florets and stems (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Crushed red pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.  Spread florets and cut the floret stems.  In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with the oil using a spoon or your hands to thoroughly coat the broccoli.  On a baking sheet, sprinkle liberally with salt and red pepper to taste.  Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges of the florets and stems are browned and crispy.  Serving suggestion: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the broccoli while still hot.
