Tips to Keep Hormones in Balance

Hormonal issues have become a significant problem, especially in the last decade. In recent years, it has become more common for women to suffer from hormonal imbalances, which can be very hard on our health and our skin.

Avoid sugar

Avoid dairy

Not to mention that most dairy products come from animals that were most likely injected with extra hormones to speed up growth or milk production, which adds even more hormones. Luckily, there are many dairy alternatives!

Get enough sleep

Getting a comfortable, good night’s sleep is crucial for good hormone production in our bodies. Not only does it allow our cells to rest and rejuvenate, but it also aids in the production of cortisol and flushes out toxins, including excess hormones.

While working out helps you stay in shape, it burns fat cells, which are usually where toxins and hormones are stored, boosts your immune system and anti-inflammatory hormones.

Eat healthy

Eating healthy doesn’t always mean depriving yourself. It’s essential to keep a healthy balance in your diet for healthier hormone production. Don’t eat too much or too little. Instead, do your best to incorporate as many organic fruits and vegetables as you can.


Meditation is helpful to keep you relaxed and can naturally help you chase away your stress, which is a big factor in hormonal imbalances. Meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, or even breathing sessions can make a difference in the production of cortisol and adrenaline.

Consider supplements

Some supplements have been proven to help with hormonal issues.

Studies have shown that taking some natural supplements such as Maca or fennel flower seeds have been proven to help with estrogen-related issues and even help early menopause.
