Heading to a Winery This Fall? Sip Back and Relax, We’ve Got Your Outfit Covered

Visiting a winery is a great fall day trip! When we say it is stress-free, we mean it; combine the calmness of your surroundings with a few of your favorite friends, a wine tasting, and a charcuterie board for good measure, and you have the perfect fall day. While we’ve probably convinced you to Google your nearest vineyard, you may be wondering what you’re going to wear. That’s where we come in! We designed the following ’fits with wineries in mind.

Silk Maxi Skirt

If you’ve been on the fence about snagging a silk maxi skirt, consider this your sign to go ahead and add to cart. Silk skirts are gorgeous and add a fun and interesting texture to any outfit. We recommend pairing a silk skirt with a lightweight knit on top, then opt for flats or crisp white sneakers to complete the look.

One Word: Velvet

We are obsessed with all things velvet this season; something about it just screams fall. There are many ways to wear velvet to a winery, but our favorite is via a crushed velvet jumper or dress. Depending on the weather, pair it with a basic tee or a sweater. And as for shoes, keep it comfy with Dr. Martens or chunky platform booties.

Miniskirts

Miniskirts are not just for the summertime… All you have to do is wear some patterned tights underneath! A miniskirt is just the right amount of trendy and comfortable for a day at a winery. Pair it with a graphic tee, an oversized cardigan, and chunky boots or patterned booties.

Simple Sweater

We love the effortlessly chic vibe of a sweater paired with denim. Our favorite way to execute this look is to pair a chunky oversized sweater French-tucked into ’90s high-rise jeans. As for shoes, our personal favorites are pointed-toe slip-ons, but we also adore Dr. Martens or even wooden clogs.

Our Pick: ASOS Design Oversized Sweater in Brushed Yarn ($48, shop here)
