We’re not trying to bring down your New Year’s fun, but remember – a champagne cork can fly up to 50 mph as it exits the bottle. If the cork hits someone in the eye, it can cause bleeding and abrasions. Make sure to keep the bottle cool, never shake it, and use a towel for safe (and festive!) popping. Happy celebrating!
