Future Fashions Brighten Up January Shopping

Snow and bone-chilling temps are striking much of the country this weekend, so it’s the perfect time to heat up a hot toddy and pull up your laptop for some online shopping to ring in 2018. You’ll want something cozy and warm but festive and bright, natch. How about a faux fur that will catch their eye with style and make you feel good because it’s cruelty free? Keep the futuristic vibe going with boots and bags crafted from 100 percent plastic. You’d make Judy Jetson proud with pure PVC accessories. Emphasize the New Year by swathing yourself in something Ultra Violet. That’s the Panton official color for 2018. The bright purple will highlight your wintery January days.

LAVENDER

Pantone announced “Ultra-Violet” as the official 2018 Color of the Year, but you’ve seen purple before. The hue has been a favorite of celebs from Prince to Elizabeth Taylor to Queen Elizabeth. The latest lavender popped up often on the 2018 fashion runways. Pantone describes Ultra Violet as complex and contemplative. If you’re into a shade that suggests the intrigue of what lies ahead in the New Year, invest in the color of royalty.
