Office Wardrobe Looks For The Sticky Summer Heat

When preparing for work during the carefree summer months, it’s so tempting to get lax with your look. However, often times you can’t because it’d be seen as “unprofessional”. If you want to keep your look polished yet practical this summer, take a look at these office wardrobe must-haves. They’ll help you beat heat while still looking work appropriate.

– Floral skirt: Add splendor to the office on sunny days with a floral skirt. It’s the perfect solution to brightening up your work space.

– Fitted day dress: Now that the cold months are gone, you can sport your fitted dress without freezing your buns off. Opt for a color like white and cover your shoulders with a tailored blazer.

– Lace up heels: You’re probably tired of wearing those old pumps. Leave them at home this summer and whip out the lace up heels, instead. They go perfectly with most items and you can get away with a pop of color on the toes.

– Head to toe white: From your blouse to your heels, wear all over white for an inspirational vibe.

– Asymmetrical skirt: Every woman should have at least one asymmetrical skirt in her closet. Go for solid colors like khaki, or hunter green so you can easily mix and match with other shoes and tops all summer long.

- Maxi dress: Transform your maxi skirt from weekend to weekday look by trading the wedges for stilettos. Throw a blazer over it to cover your shoulders – if it’s a dress with straps.

– Shirt dress: The shirt dress is going to be huge this summer, so make sure you’ve got at least one. You can pair it with flats or power heels.

– Mini skirt: who says a mini skirt can’t be worn to the office? If you’re worried about whether the look is appropriate or not, simply pair it with a classic button down shirt.

– Neon heels: Don’t shy away from bold colors on your feet. Rock a pair of neon heels with a bag for a splash of color at the office.
