How To Dress & Slay This Valentine’s Day

We’re in the midst of Cupid’s season and with dates, parties and long nights on the town, it’s important to look great on that special day. Even if you’re planning a day time affair or are just opting for a simple dinner by candle light, it’s fun to primp a little for this holiday.

Choosing an outfit can be the hardest part of Valentine’s Day. Who wants their outfit to fall flat? That’s no fun. But, what you wear has everything to do with where you’re going and what you’re doing. Here’s a list of outfit ideas you can steal, perfect for most occasions:

Dinner or Cocktail Party: If you’re headed out to dinner or to a cocktail party, wear something that makes you feel flirty like a nice swanky dress. Liven it up with something lacy or shimmery. Complete the look with a clutch and a nice pair of pumps.

Karaoke/ Casual Date: If you’re heading to something more casual like out to karaoke, you can dress down and still look amazing. Go for a pair of dark denim jeans matched with ankle boots and a sweater or turtle neck top.

Romantic Stroll: If you’re going on a casual stroll, opt for a fun pair of leggings and a half zipped sweater. You can even add texture with a pair of tubular shoes.

Whatever outfit you wear, keep in mind…
– Make sure your clothes fit your body type
– Stay away from too small or too baggy
– Don’t hide your assets
