Breaking Down our Favorite Looks from the Fenty X Savage Show

Rihanna knows how to keep the tabloids and fans talking, whether it’s with her award-winning music, her ground-breaking makeup brand, “Fenty Beauty,” or her inclusive lingerie line Savage X Fenty. The line debuted with a runway show at New York Fashion Week in 2018 that featured models of all sizes and races, including a nine-month pregnant Slick Woods (she even went into labor shortly after stepping off the runway)! Rhianna’s approach to lingerie stands in stark contrast to brands like Victoria’s Secret—which in recent years has faced backlash for having a very limited and unrealistic beauty ideal.

This year, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show went digital due to Covid-19. Hosted through Amazon Prime, the show claimed a bevy of celebrities, including Demi Moore, Normani, Gigi Goode, Erika Jayne, Paris Hilton, Willow Smith, Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid, Lizzo, and King Combs. Artists Mario, Bad Bunny, Rosalia, and Travis Scott performed. Let’s break down some of the best looks of the show.

Cara Delevingne

Model and actress Cara Delevingne was almost unrecognizable in a full “rocker girl” look—a sparkling bra and panty set, a long hairstyle with short bangs, amazing eyeliner work, and fishnet stockings with a chain.

Erika Jayne

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star rocked the show by wearing an S&M inspired lingerie look, featuring black stockings, a silk robe, glitter pasties and lace underwear. She finished off the bold ensemble with a high ponytail in a braid.

Demi Moore

Actress Demi Moore made a surprise appearance in the show, modeling a black lace body suit and fishnet stockings while sitting centerstage, surrounded by a group of models. Moore’s cameo in the show is a reminder that even at 57, women can absolutely pull off sexy lingerie.

Paris Hilton

Celebrity Paris Hilton showed off a Barbie-inspired lingerie look in an all-pink ensemble of fishnet stockings, a long sleeve off-the-shoulder bodysuit, and pink shades.

Normani

Singer Normani wore an all-white ensemble, channeling her inner bride with a veil, white sleeves, a lace panty and bra set, knee high stockings, and diamond necklace.

Christian Combs

Christian “King” Combs, son of famous singer/producer P. Diddy, closed the show alongside Rhianna in a black silk robe, matching shorts, and blue briefs.

Rihanna

Rihanna, queen of the costume change, wore many unforgettable outfits during the night. Her stand-out moment came during a part of the show with a floral theme, in which Rihanna emerged from a pink human-sized flower wearing a purple body suit, stockings, and a floral coverup.

Rihanna sure knows how to keep us wanting more. Which looks from her show were your favorite?
