Sarah Michelle Gellar Shared Clever Quote About Marriage On Wedding Anniversary

Buffy The Vampire Slayer star, Sarah Michelle Gellar is celebrating her 16th year wedding anniversary to actor, Freddie Prinze Jr. and the actress had a funny thing to say about their lasting love.

In recognizing their special day, she took to Instagram to say:

“Someone told me -Marriage is like a deck of cards. In the beginning all you need is two hearts and a diamond. “But years later, you wish you had a club and a spade.”

Gellar and Prinze are one of the few couples in Hollywood maintaining a long lasting relationship. They met in 1997 on set of I Know What You Did Last Summer and married in 2002.
