Celebs Make 2017 Resolutions Just Like You and Me

If every celebrity who starts off 2017 vowing to eat healthy, chow down on less pizza and live in the gym follows through, this year will be one of the healthiest on record. Celebs are just like you and me; they have goals. They aspire. Sometimes their resolutions focus on food, and sometimes their goals are as simple and important as remembering to remain calm.

When celebs are interviewed on the red carpet, they tell all. When they post on Instagram, they show as well as tell. Here’s a sample of resolutions that offer inspiration for the coming days.

“Remain calm.”

“Drink more water, because you can never drink enough. Two liters is supposed to be the thing, right?

Kate Hudson
Hudson devoted her first 10 days of the New Year to getting back on track after her year-end celebration. After sipping a recuperative Bloody Mary, she took to her bike and went for a spin workout. “Gonna get on my favorite bike @pelotoncycle and try to make this happen #StillLazy #GonnaGetUpAndMakeItHappenTho,” Hudson, 37, wrote on Instagram.

Grace Vanderwaal
“Start eating healthy! Every year I say I’m going to do it and never do it, but maybe this year will be the year for me,” she said on the red carpet.

Lena Dunham
“new year gotta do it!!!” Dunham, 30, promised on Instagram. Her Jan. 2 workout included yoga with a friend followed by jumping jacks.

Khloé Kardashian
Kardashian capped off her 2016 weight loss success with “A little NYE workout @bodyandsoulboxinggym!” Vowing to “break a quick sweat to get ready for tonight’s festivities,” she enjoyed a boxing warmup.

Miley Cyrus
Cyrus reaped the reward of a New Year’s Eve indulgence of pasta, pizza and alcohol and posted on Instagram the following day: “I deserve it. Too much pizza. Not enough water. #firstpimpleof2017.”

Ashley Graham
The model posted that’s she’s ready to continue her groundbreaking success in the New Year. “Walking into #2017 with boldness, excitement and confidence!!” Graham wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to all the people who helped me achieve so many of my goals, dreams and desires this past year! Dream big and get what you want. Happy New Year!”

La La Anthony
“I don’t know how I feel about New Year’s resolutions… I’ll focus on improving myself as a person.”

Sabrina Carpenter
“Keep working towards your goals, be a better version of yourself, but at the same time, don’t take life too seriously.”

Daya
“Chill more and take a couple of breaks. My life has been so hectic that I might go crazy if I continue this way. It’s a great kind of hectic, but at the same time, I want to sit back and enjoy life more.”
