What’s your daily hair routine? If it includes blow-drying, straightening, and curling, you’re likely using a lot of heat! While heat-styling your hair is fine occasionally, but doing it too regularly can start to cause damage. If you’ve noticed dry hair, split ends, or breakage, it’s time to incorporate some easy heatless hairstyles into your hair rotation. Here are a few to try and tips for how to achieve them!
Heatless Waves
This is an old trick: Wake up with waves by braiding your damp hair before bed! When you need to style it in the morning, simply add some detangling spray and finger-comb through. Voila! No heat required!
The Low Pony

This style will look good no matter the texture of your hair. Simply gather all of your hair at the nape of your neck and tie it off. If you have bangs or you want some wispy pieces near your face, carefully pull them out of the ponytail and bring them forward. Try tying a ribbon or hair scarf at the base of the pony to dress it up.
The Halfsies Top Knot

To achieve a half-up, half-down style with a top knot, start by sectioning off your hair. Next, tie up the top portion higher than you typically would for a half-up style. Next, create a messy bun with the top pony. This style looks put-together and effortless at the same time. It’s especially great paired with boho fashion!
The Low Bun

This is a favorite of ours for an everyday look. Simply start by smoothing out the top of your hair, if necessary. Then, gather all of your hair at the base of your neck. Create a bun and tie it off with an elastic. Tame any wild hairs with bobby pins. You can switch up this style by letting bangs or loose pieces hang near your face and pairing it with some hoop earrings.
