We’ll keep it short and sweet: Anthropologie has some amazing plus size pieces, and we chose our favorites to share with you, as well as some tips on how we would wear them. Without further ado, here are our seven favorite plus size pieces from Anthropologie.
Misty Maxi Dress, $178 (shop here)
We are absolutely obsessed with this dress; from the bright colors to the bold print, what’s not to love? The v-neck lengthens the silhouette, and the tie accentuates the waist just oh-so perfectly. For a simple boho look, just pair this dress with woven slip-ons or clogs. If you desire to add a layer, we say grab that destructed denim jacket. Regardless of how you wear it, let the dress do the talking, and opt for minimal jewelry. This dress gives us major favorite art vibes and we are here for it!
Miranda Peasant Blouse, $128 (shop here)
If you’re a big fan of bright colors and bold prints, but like to keep it a bit more tame, try this peasant top on for size. We love this top french-tucked into high-waisted denim and paired with a neutral flat. If you want to dress it up a bit, opt for pairing this blouse with a button-down skirt and a fun pair of platform sandals. A neutral woven bag and some vintage sunnies would top this outfit off like the cherry on top of the ultimate outfit.
Clarabelle Maxi Skirt, $148 (shop here)
Let’s be honest, we don’t think a person can ever own too many maxi skirts for spring and summertime, and this Clarabelle maxi is perfect. We love seeing this skirt paired with a knotted white tee and denim jacket, or a sleeveless chambray tucked in. Throw on your most comfy strap sandals, some delicate gold chains, and you’ve got a fit that’s ready for whatever super fun summer activity you have planned. From early mornings at the Farmer’s Market to evening rooftop cocktail parties with a few close friends, this skirt will never let you down.
Pilcro James Cropped Wide Leg Pants, $138 (shop here)
Good news for those of you who love wide-legged pants: they’re going to be everywhere! We certainly love a wide-leg pair of pants because that’s a great piece to build an outfit from. If you’re going for a casual look, we say pair them with your favorite graphic tee, a vintage bandana around your hair, and your most comfy Birks. If you want to polish up your trousers a bit, try french-tucking a peasant top in them and putting on a wooden clog or two-strap sandal. The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to this fun, retro silhouette.
Floral Beaded Buttondown, $158 (shop here)
Not to be dramatic, but we simply die over this button down. While we love seeing it paired with denim, we also love the idea of pairing this top with a black and white polkadot wrap midi skirt and black woven slip-ons. Since a button down can seem a bit stuffy, we also love the idea of pairing this with a pair of worn in, destructed denim shorts and white Keds.
Maeve Toni Tunic Dress, $138 (shop here)
No big deal, just another adorable dress from Anthropologie. The shape of this dress alone is to die for. After all, the colors are absolutely beautiful, and we love all the dimensions that are created with the stripes, ties, and chest pocket. The dress alone is a focal point worth keeping, so we say throw on a fun pair of statement earrings, a neutral shoe, and call it a day!
Pilcro The Wanderer Relaxed Jeans, $138 (shop here)
The perfect pair of jeans doesn’t exi-… Seriously, we cannot find one flaw with these jeans; not only are they a relaxed fit, but the destruction and wash of these jeans are perfection. If you’re going for a minimal look, we say just pair these jeans with a solid tee, Birks, and a vintage scarf as a headband. On the other hand, if you’re going for more of a classic look, find a fun oxford shirt- maybe one with stripes- to french-tuck in and pair with pointed toe flats. If you’re feeling edgy, we say a cropped bleach-dyed graphic tee and flannel combo would be the way to go. Either way, you really can’t go wrong with any of these pieces from Anthropologie.
