With so many TV shows to watch these days, it’s hard to choose which ones we are most excited to see return from hiatus. In this post, we listed the shows we can’t wait to return to streaming services between now and the end of the year!
The Afterparty (Season 2)
Apple+ has some excellent original content, and The Afterparty is no exception. The show was released in January 2022 and quickly became a fan favorite. This murder mystery comedy explores a murder each season; the first season is set at a high school reunion, while the second season takes place at a wedding. Watch on Apple+ starting July 12.
The Morning Show (Season 3)
Ten new episodes of The Morning Show are coming! The ensemble cast is led by Jennifer Aniston as Alex Levy and Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson, the co-anchors of the popular news program. Jon Hamm joins the cast this season as Paul Marks, a corporate titan who throws the network’s future into question. The third season promises to be a wild ride as the characters navigate the cutthroat world of morning news television. Watch on Apple+ starting September 13.
Only Murders in the Building (Season 3)
Our favorite Hulu show is back with the characters we love, ready to solve new murder mysteries at The Arconia. The trio of Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) are joined by Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep in Season 3. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger when Rudd’s character, Ben, collapsed on stage, bleeding from his mouth. Watch on Hulu starting August 8.
Lupin (Part 3)
We are ready for our favorite thriller series, Lupin, to return to Netflix with Arsène Lupin (Omar Sy), our main character, hiding and living apart from his family. He can’t bear that his family is in pain because of him. In Part 3, he returns to Paris, suggesting a radical plan to leave France and begin a new life. The series jumps between timelines from Arsène’s youth to present-day adulthood. Watch on Netflix starting October 5.
Loki (Season 2)
Loki Season 1 was an unexpectedly fantastic show about its namesake, Loki. We have been waiting since 2021 for new episodes! The new season of Loki is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five, which began on February 17 with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Watch on Disney+ starting October 6.
