Barbie is livin’ it up with overpowering fame. The movie was ridiculously entertaining and comical, with takeaway lessons for men and women of all ages. If you’ve seen the movie, you know that Barbie and Ken must leave Barbie World to enter the “real world.” It involves traveling through space, sailing the oceans, and rollerblading into Venice Beach. But what do they find once they’re in California? Their outfits get some strange looks. So they change at a local store into Western ensembles.

In the movie’s first scene, you see Barbie in all her glory: She gets out of bed, has a shower with no water, gets her toast ready to “fake eat,” and looks in the mirror to ensure she looks as glamorous as ever. In this scene, she wears a 1960s-inspired gingham dress with a delicate floral necklace.
