If there’s one thing we love the most about the beauty world, it’s that it’s constantly expanding! Here are some of our favorite new (or newly revamped) beauty brands!
Music superstar Ariana Grande is treading new waters with the release of her makeup line R.E.M. Beauty. It is already known for best-selling products like the At The Borderline Eyeliner Marker ($19, shop here) and the Essential Drip Lip Oil ($16, shop here) in the shade “Pickin Petals,” which some fans think is an homage to late singer/songwriter Mac Miller.
Another famous vocalist who’s gaining traction in the beauty world is Lady Gaga! Though her line, Haus Labs, has been around since 2019, it recently underwent a serious rebranding. Some of our favorite product releases include the Le Monster Lip Crayon ($22, shop here), which comes in a variety of shades and offers a seriously moisturized long-wear finish, and the Hy-Power Pigment Paint ($24, shop here), which can be used on the face, eyes, and body as an eyeshadow, body paint, lipstick, and more.
Environmentalists, rejoice! Axiology was founded to be good for you, animals, and the planet. This brand is super-safe for the skin and chock-full of good-for-you ingredients. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, and plastic-free. Axiology currently offers a singular product, but, oh, what a rockstar of a product it is! It’s called the Balmie, a crayon-esque tube of pigment in recyclable wrapping that can be used as a highlighter, lipstick, or eyeshadow. Our favorite shades are Champagne ($14, shop here) and Strawberry ($14, shop here), but you can also purchase multipacks like the popular Of the Earth ($36, shop here).
If you’re looking for a new eyeshadow palette that has great color payoffs, saturated pigments, and metallic finishes that would make even the gals on Euphoria jealous, say hello to Devinah Cosmetics! Each product in this indie makeup brand is a labor of love: hand-poured and hand-blended. The most popular item is the Carnival Sweets Collection ($56, shop here), which comes with seven shimmery candy-inspired shades.
