Bella Hadid is a force to be reckoned with. After signing to IMG Models, she has made incredible strides in her career, including breaking the record for most Vogue covers in a single month back in September 2017. Her adaptable “off-duty” style has granted her supermodel status. In examining her looks, we couldn’t help but notice one of her favorite pieces: the corset. Let’s take a look at how Hadid has styled the age-old garment.

This year, Hadid stood poised on the Met Gala’s red carpet. Following the theme, “America: An Anthology of Fashion,” the model sported a studded leather corset dress with a jeweled train paired with black lace gloves and matching tights – all courtesy of Burberry.

A supermodel’s duties include jet-setting around the world, especially to the South of France, where Hadid attended the Dior x Vogue Paris dinner party during the Cannes Film Festival. Hadid came dressed for success in a cream Dior corset with wide-legged trousers, a sparkly purse, and statement earrings.

Hadid is no stranger to Versace. Her work with the label includes walking for multiple shows and wearing pieces like this any chance she gets. This stark red gown features an inverted neckline, exposing intricate and beautiful crystals and corset detailing. A pair of Roger Vivier pointed pumps completed this Old Hollywood-inspired look.

It’s not easy to pick favorites among these incredibly styled corsets, but this look comes close. In attending a gala during Paris Fashion Week, Hadid dressed to impress in a Jean Paul Gaultier gown. In 2006 model Lily Cole debuted the dress as a part of the designer’s fall-winter couture show. Years later, it’s hard to forget the pop of pink, ruffles, and strapless corset body.

And who could forget this Mugler ensemble? The all-nude look was custom-designed for Hadid by creative director Casey Cadwallader for the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week. With high-waist briefs and a corset underneath a sheer overlay, we can’t help but still be amazed.
